The deceased was a native df Dix Hills, but the major portion of his life was spent in Islip, where he pursued the avocation of a carpenter and builder. For a time he conducted a farra north of Hauppauge. He removed to Amityville a decade or more ago and later came to Babylon, where he has since resided.
